Double-pipe Condenser

An efficient, environmentally friendly double-pipe condenser was invented by Jie Zhao of Hi-tech Spring in July, 2007. This was patented by the National Intellectual Property Bureau of People’s Republic of China in June, 2008, and HaiKe subsequently purchased the patent rights from Jie Zhao.

The technology is mainly used to recycle tail gas in an efficient and environmentally friendly manner.

Joint Production of DMC and Propylene Glycol

In August, 2002 the unit producing dimethyl carbonate and propylene glycol purchased three patent technologies from the East China University of Science and Technology for a ten year period. When DMC is produced, so is propylene glycol with the help of propylene oxide as the carrier. This process uses the catalyst reaction and rectification technology, having the characteristics of high transformation percentage and short production flow with almost no waste. The three national patents covering this technology are:

1. An improved synthesis method of dialkyl carbonate
2. The catalyst recycling method in the process of DMC synthesis
3. The separation method for a liquid mixture of carbinol and DMC

The products are used widely in many fields, and can substitute products in several industries, which brings a new growth potential for the fine chemical industry.

Processing of Isopropyl Alcohol

The Company signed a technology transferring contract with Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, CAS in January, 2004, which covers three years use of Isopropyl alcohol technology. The patents cover:

1. An exclusive technology of direct propylene hydration reaction, producing isopropyl alcohol and separation technology;
2. A patented technology of production and activation for resin catalysts in the direct propylene hydration;
3. A patented technology of direct propylene hydration to produce isopropyl alcohol.

This technology makes use of reaction heat to separate successive products, saving energy by using heat from the reaction.
